They overcame many hurdles, fought with the zalim samaj, got married and later proudly became the parents of a baby girl. However, few years down the line, the rosy family picture is showing signs of a strained relationship. News has it that actor Arbaz Khan and his actress wife Khushboo have developed serious differences. A little birdie has told us that Khushboo has not only gone back to stage but is also busy reviving her film career. As for Arbaz, he is said to be taking a keen interest in another lady by the name of Meena Naz. Aha! This sounds like a classic case of ‘the other woman’. |

Blinded by the obsession that our film industry is dead, we choose to ignore the fact that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Mourning the lack of good- quality films and the demand of releasing Indian films in the country, we have, unfortunately, overlooked the fact that good films can be made by us — case in point Khuda kay Liay and the Punjabi film Majajan. The latter has completed its 176 weeks and is still running successfully in the cinema houses. Hats off to the film-makers! |

“I have never begged for work when it comes to Bollywood. You don’t gain respect by doing so. Talks are on for a role I have been offered in a co-production by Sohail Khan. Let me tell you with utmost conviction that with the kind of offers that have come to me from Bollywood, no other Pakistani film actress has ever received such positive response as I have.”
