It seems that Madonna has been having a ball and partying hard for a few nights in a row. The pop diva was seen letting her hair down for three consecutive nights and even had bumps and bruises to prove it. The 49-year-old Queen of Pop partied into the early hours after attending the GQ Awards. And she was back at it again the next day and then once again as she enjoyed dinner with hubby Guy Ritchie at Harry’s restaurant in Mayfair. The ‘American Life’ singer was spotted with a red, sore-looking knee, as evidence that she’s been living it up. |

Singer Avril Lavigne was sure that her new song When You’re Gone from her album The Best Damn Thing would be a hit when she first played it to her friends and they turned emotional. The Canadian pop star asserted that the touching song is very personal to her and she was amazed to see people reacting emotionally to it. “It’s about the person you miss and all the little things you miss about them,” she told. So many people can relate to it in different ways, whether it’s someone going off to war... or losing someone or even just breaking up with someone, or simply just missing someone because you’re going away. Her ballad even turned the audience emotional when she performed it live. “I did a concert in Paris for MTV and there were kids in the audience, crying. Even I was choked up on stage during my performance,” she said. |

‘Billo’, singer Abrar-ul-Haq’s Sahara Trust has joined forces with ‘Pampers’ under the banner of ‘Help Save a Life’ campaign. This simply means that with each ‘Pampers’ packet sold during the month of Ramazan, one infant in Sughra Shafi Medical Complex will be able to receive a certain life-saving drug – depending on the particular disease that ails the child – free of cost! For those of you who have little rugrats in dire need of diaper control, go to any departmental store and buy a pack of Pampers that is ‘stickered’, to make sure that its proceedings will be rightly utilized. |
